Introduction to Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics
The Gynecology and Obstetrics is a Xi’an’s foremost specialized department, which is equipped with 198 beds, and staffed with a variety of over 320 personnel at all levels in 6 wings (2 for gynecology, while 4 for obstetrics), 3 centers (i.e. Reproduction center, delivery room management center, cervical cancer screening center), 1 ultrasonic examination room, and 2 specialized labs. With the annual over 280,000 outpatient visits and 11,600 operations and the delivery of 10,000 infants, the Hospital take the lead in treating the common and complicated diseases of the gynecology and obstetrics in Shaanxi province.
