Introduction to Department of Internal Medicine
The Department is currently staffed with a variety of over 200 personnel, and equipped with 159 beds for 6 wings (cardiovascular medicine, respiration medicine, endocrinology department, digestion medicine, kidney and blood medicine, department of neurology), 2 examination rooms (electrocardiography and heart function, TCD electrocardiography brain mapping); 3 centers (blood purification center, endoscopy and intervention center). On annual large, it receives approximately 100,000 outpatient visits, of which, over 6,000 is hospitalized. Furthermore, the heart intervention surgery, neurovascular intervention surgery and blood purification are among the rank of leading technologies in Shaanxi province.
