Day Surgery Center
Day Surgery refers to the medical mode allowing the patient to be discharged within 24 hours following the surgery on the heels of preoperative examination and operation appointment. In Apr. 2016, the Day Surgery Center of the Hospital was listed among the rank of the first pilot units carrying out day surgery in Shaanxi Province, with an area covering over 1,800m2, which houses reception area of day surgery, examination and assessment area, surgery area, anesthesia anabiosis area and observation area. Furthermore, it is well equipped with domestically and internationally advanced examination, diagnosis and treatment, surgery and monitoring equipment and staffed with several professional medical crews, which have been subject to technical access and well-trained nursing crew. At present, a number of diseases featuring minimal invasion such as cataract and strabismus have been incorporated into the items under day surgery.
